We source as many ingredients as possible from our home prefecture of Yamanashi Prefecture unless the ingredient is not available. All grape blossoms are collected from Koshu City, our hometown. We number each of the 47 different botanical ingredients we use and manage them accordingly, including ingredients such as grape skin, peach, plum, quince, pear, sakura, and osmanthus. The numbers stamped on the product label indicate the botanical ingredients that have been blended into the product.
We use the immersion method to infuse the distilled liquor with the aroma of the ingredients. To extract the more delicate aromas, the distillation is carried out at a very low temperature of 30°C using vacuum distillation. Single distillation is performed for each botanical ingredient before the extracted liquids are blended. We have patented our distillation method for grape blossoms.
